I… Suppose you’re right. I just have such a hard time thinking that he’s not… coming home. Thank you uncle, I don’t know what I would do if you were gone too. And, I’m sorry I left. It was just… It was something I had to do.

JOHN IS BED RIDDEN FOR THE TIME BEING, HE WAS POSSESSED AND HIS SOUL IS SLOWLY GETTING PLACED BACK TOGETHER AGAIN AS IT IS SEPARATED FROM THE ENTITIES. 

THERE IS A YOUNG MAN WHO USED TO LIVE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD, SOLLUX YOU MAY REMEMBER HIM, WHO HAD DIED. BUT ON GAMZEE’S WORD I WAS MADE AWARE HE WAS STUCK IN A VOID OF A POCKET DIMENSION AS A SPIRIT AND HAS SINCE BEEN BATTLING DEMONS FOR CONTROL OF WHAT LITTLE PHYSICAL MANIFESTATION HE HAS LEFT. HE IS CURRENTLY IN THE HOUSE WHILE I HELP HIM AND ANOTHER CHILD WHO IS STILL WITHIN THIS VOID. THAT WOULD BE THE MAGIC THAT HAS BEEN EXHAUSTING ME…

JADE JUST RETURNED HOME FROM WAS I BELIEVE WAS A REBELLIOUS HUNTING SPREE AND… I’M NOT SURE YET WHAT WILL COME OF THAT.

Uncle, you should be more careful. You aren’t as young as you used to be you know. Let me help you. I learned a lot while I was gone. I can be of some use. You don’t have to bear the burden of this family alone anymore.  I promise I’ll do what I can to make up for all that time I was away. 

YOU DON’T HAVE TO MAKE UP FOR ANYTHING, NONE OF THIS IS YOUR FAULT FOR BEING GONE. WE WILL SEE WHAT HAPPENS, BUT FOR NOW RELAX. THE MAGIC I HAVE DONE I WOULD NOT BURDEN YOU WITH, A YEAR IS SIMPLY NOT ENOUGH TIME TO CONTROL SUCH A SPELL. BUT THANK YOU JANE I APPRECIATE IT.
