If I remember correctly, Kurloz said that she was killed by an Archdemon. That could be what is commanding Meulin now

Yes, that could definitely be it! She sure looked scared, and Archdemons most definitely have that effect on people. It would make sense, because those fearsome beings usually have a host of lesser demons to serve them. And boy, do they get greedy.
